We’ve all been there, with dirty hands after fixing a puncture or making a repair, you accidentally get some oil or grease on your kit. That doesn’t mean permanent marks though. Whichever type of fabric you are wearing, the trick to getting rid of that greasy stain is to start treating it as soon as possible.

These days, my goal is to make most days, good days. The bike is a tool for finding good in the everyday. It’s catharsis. Joy. Accomplishment. Some days, it’s just a way to get away from work and shift my perspective. In a time when travel is limited, it’s a way to escape the apartment for a short ‘holiday.’ Now, more than ever, the bike firmly sits as the MVP of all of my worldly possessions.

For as long as I can remember, Most days have been planned around bike rides and bike races. Bikes have always been a part of my life. Since my days as a child racing locally, riding my bike to school, to eventually the training and racing – I was lucky to call it my job for four years - bikes have been the centre of each day.

"I have to plan a little more to find time for myself. Early starts help. Seriously, though, the Brompton affords me a little extra time everyday."

“I’ve ridden in some cool places. I use it to get some training in when I’m away. I’ve ridden up Alpe D’Huez, the Col du Tourmalet and sections of Paris Roubaix on my Brompton."
